Thank You For Your SupportThe results for Ward 9 - Clarksville City Council are complete.
Incumbent Councilperson Wallace won with 1697 votes (49.16%), followed by Jeff Robinson with 755 (21.88%). Keith Fain obtained 515 votes, (14.93%) and I received 475 votes (13.76%) for my first attempt in a political position. County wide, 55,638 voters took the opportunity to vote. This is 62.38% of registered voters in Clarksville-Montgomery County.
It has been a great experience. I am still overwhelmed by the support from friends and neighbors, and my only hope is that I did not disappoint the people who chose to support me. I'll be around for the next term, and I've learned areas I can try to improve on. I'm not going away. Hopefully you'll support me when we try again.
I was interested in these figures as time progressed. My calculations for "Campaign Dollars Collected per Vote" end up like this:
Keith Fain ($910 collected) - $1.77 per vote
Brandon Knox ($1,067 collected) - $2.26 per vote
Jeff Robinson - ($7,400 collected) - $9.80 per vote
Joel Wallace - ($13,296 collected) - $7.84 per vote
I have not accepted any donations. All of the money I have "collected" has been out of my own pocket, and it was spent so that I could represent the best interests of Clarksville, without any strings attached.
Moving forward, I encourage you to stay involved in the situations we face as a City. Attend a City Council Meeting with me. If you can't attend, watch a recording from the City's website. If you are interested in communication from Councilperson Wallace, please click here.
Thanks again for giving me the opportunity for election.
